Radeon 7520G Micro Stuttering

Radeon 7520G Micro Stuttering
I have an HP g6-2002au pavilion notebook running Win7 home premium 64, with 8gb dual channel RAM. It has a Radeon 7520G graphics system and windows reports 512Mb of dedicated video memory, which I am advised is probably not enough for video editing. HP says the notebook cannot have the amount of dedicated video memory changed.

Running Corel Video Studio X6 (and X7) when playing a project file with all components on a USB memory stick, it suffers micro stuttering on files longer than a few minutes. (the video runs, then pauses, and left alone starts again and may catch up, but pauses again later: which seems to fit the wiki description of micro stuttering). The technical descriptions of the 7520G on the web all say this part is prone to micro stuttering, but the RadeonPro software might fix or alleviate that.

So this question is, would the RadeonPro software run on this notebook and fix that stuttering problem?
