A few questions about Radeon PRO features?

A few questions about Radeon PRO features?
1. Is there a way to stop Radeonpro from using triple buffering and an fps limiter when Dynamic Vsync is enabled?

2. Why does setting a frame rate limit cause vsync to not run in game?

3. I still see screen tearing when using DFC and forced Vsync. The tearing is always right at the top of the screen.

Radeon Pro tested on 2 isolated systems and found the above to all be true.

Thank you.

RE: A few questions about Radeon PRO features?
1. No because if framerate goes below display's refresh rate then framerate would drop to half of refresh rate if triple-buffering is disabled.

2. Sorry, can you be more specific?

3. Do you see tearing while using plain vsync?

Some system specs would be helpful. Are you using AMD Eyefinity?

RE: A few questions about Radeon PRO features?
Let me explain point number 2.
If I enable Vsync in a game and use DFC in radeonpro, Vsync does not function, unless forced also, via Radeonpro.

Is there any chance that you could add another feature to DFC whereby you can use decimal values so I can set an fps limit of 59.9 for my games? I think this is possible to implement because you can use decimal fps values for some games when entering the value directly into the game console.

Thank you.

DFC enforces in-game vsync off, it's that way by design.

No, DFC can't be set to a decimal number. Sorry.

Could you program Radeon Pro to NOT force Vsync off, but set a message which advises it?

Could you also program DFC to use decimal values like you can with some game console commands?

Also, could you change the flip queue size option to allow the maximum render ahead value of 8 please?
(Max value is 8 for DirectX)
Thank you.

Nope, if you're using DFC then vsync must be overridden.

Having decimal adjustment to target frame rate won't be useful because the frame rate control isn't that much precise.

Why is DFC compulsory for Dynamic Vsync then?

Cheers.
