FXAA / FSX
Hey ,

This is a great utility but I am facing some issues.

I cannot get FXAA or any of the SweetFX settings to run in FSX under DX9.

Tried with DX10 but still no go.

I keep getting appprofile errors so I use Disable API monitoring and that shuts off FXAA and stuff.

I am Catalyst 13.12 and they working perfectly.

It would be great if I can get the FXAA and Sweetfx working with radeonpro.

Also Affinitymask if selected from radeonpro does not always work. I am using a FX 6300 and only four cores for FSX and she perfectly well with maxed settings.

Radeonpro is the latest version I am using. For FXAA to work I need to inject the files under FSX .

Help please.

Thanks.

Are you using other tools or have a d3d9.dll/dxgi.dll file inside FSX installation folder?

Hey John,

Yes i do have fxaa post process files in Fsx root folder, but even after removing them it does not work in DX9.

Let me try again and will report back in an hour.

Thnx for your reply.

RE: FXAA / FSX
Ok I removed all the FXAA files, enabled FXAA in radeonpro , wham appprofile.dll error, I "Disable API Monitoring" and FSX starts but not FXAA or SMAA.

If I deselect FXAA and use SMAA error is "BEX".

Sometimes FSX loads up and If I create or select a flight load it just stops there doing nothing and FSX in task manager shows a usage of around 300 mb but not going further.

Please, enable debug logging and api monitoring and post a FSX log so I can have a look at it.

RE: FXAA / FSX
What does the FSFDTCP.exe module?

You might also close Firefox while gaming, it's well known to cause issues to 3D clocks in some cases.
